The Team

You’ll be part of a collaborative HR team that operates in a shared services model, providing expert guidance and support. The team works together across the areas of HR Advisory, HR Administration, Learning and Development, Payroll and IR/ER to deliver high-quality HR services, partnering with business leaders to drive performance, enhance workplace culture, and build leadership capability. With a strong focus on customer service, the team is committed to delivering practical, solutions-focused HR advice while fostering an inclusive and high-performing work environment.

The Role

The HR Advisor position is responsible for offering their allocated portfolio of clients support on employee relations, workplace compliance, and performance management matters. Working closely with business leaders, the HR Advisor can influence decision-making, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. The role aids managers in developing their leadership capabilities, leads workplace investigations, and contributes to change initiatives, all while ensuring service level agreements are met.

The Person 

  • Experienced HR Advisor: 3+ years in a HR Advisor capacity with practical experience in interpretation of awards (Educational Services and SCHADS highly regarded), EBAs, and conducting workplace investigations
  • Customer focused: Able to build strong relationships, influence senior stakeholders, and provide high quality, practical HR solutions in line with agreed service levels
  • Proactive and adaptable: Capable of handling diverse portfolios of customers in fast-paced business operations
  • Systems Savvy: MS Office, including Visio and TEAMS, experience using a shared inbox with ticketing systems and ELMO Express are advantageous
