I’ve built my experience in administration across different industries, mostly supporting recruitment and looking after business and systems tasks. A lot of what I do involves scheduling interviews, coordinating with leaders, managing calendars, and making sure processes run smoothly. I like putting things in order, finding ways to make systems work better, and helping leaders and teams stay focused on what matters most.

Here’s what keeps me happy outside of work:

• I love travelling, whether it’s a quick beach trip or heading to the mountains for fresh air and amazing views.
• I enjoy exploring new cafes and restaurants with family and friends, always looking for good food and cosy spots.
• I’m a big K-pop fan, and concerts are one of the things I look forward to the most.
• Music is part of my everyday life, and my playlists are a mix of K-pop, acoustic picks, and songs that lift my mood.
• I like capturing little moments, big or small, because I’m a bit of a memory hoarder who loves having something to look back on.
• I’d say I’m a self-starter since I enjoy teaching myself new things, whether it’s a language or a random skill I come across.

With over 25 years experience in human resources across a range of industries I specialise in supporting business leaders with practical, compliant advice on employee relations, performance management and employment legislation interpretation. I’m passionate about helping organisations enhance their leader capabilities and navigate HR challenges to ensure both compliance and a positive employee experience.

• My life in Australia started in 2009, when my family and I relocated to the Gold Coast. We are all hybrid British/NZ/Australians but are proud to call this country our home and love the lifestyle and opportunities that are on offer here.
• I love being healthy and active, playing tennis and running, but I also love finding new places to eat and undoing all my hard work with lots of food and wine.
• My greatest passion in life, apart from spending time with family and friends, is travelling. I always have the next trip planned and my bucket list of places I want to see and experience is probably longer than my shopping list!

• I love listening to people’s stories, backgrounds, interests, and passions, which is probably one of the reasons I’m in HR!
• I thoroughly enjoy meeting, collaborating and working with different talented people in all areas of my life – I learn so much from them!
• My friends and family would describe me as being full of spirit, reliable, constant and very thoughtful
• I’ve travelled Europe and Asia with my husband (when we were young and free), but the best place we’ve found on earth is right here in our own backyard on the Gold Coast
• When I’m not working I’m either exercising (whilst socialising) with friends or being uber Mum for our busy teenage boys
• My favourite time of the day is unwinding of an evening after a productive day and enjoying a book from the pile I can’t resist reading

I have extensive experience across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on HR operations, compliance and system optimisation.  I particularly enjoy facilitating workshops and training, partnering with leaders to streamline processes, driving practical people solutions that enhance employee engagement and add measurable value to the organisation.

Life beyond work looks a little like this:

• I have a very independent (and occasionally mischievous) chocolate brown Tonkinese cat, Lulu.
• I’m very partial to a NZ Sauvignon Blanc at the end of the day.
• I love discovering new restaurants with authentic cultural flavours that are a little bit “off the beaten track”.
• My favourite holiday is either a tropical getaway (with plenty of shade for my lily-white skin) or skiing in Queenstown.
• I’m grateful for family and friends who keep life fun (and never dull).
• My guilty pleasure is unwinding with TV crime shows and true crime podcasts.

I’m a people-focused HR professional with deep expertise in HR foundations, engagement, and employee performance. • Outside of work, life is all about family for me. With two young boys, I treasure spending quality time together and making memories, whether we’re at home or off on an adventure. I love hosting and entertaining—on weekends you’ll often find us firing up the OzPig and cooking up something delicious for family and friends.
• Travel and little getaways are always high on my list, though my husband will tell you I have a strict two-hour car ride limit!
• I also enjoy rolling up my sleeves with renovation projects and working on our property. Whether it’s tackling a new DIY project or making improvements around the home, I love bringing ideas to life and creating spaces we can enjoy as a family.

With 20+ years in HR, I work with clients to hire talent that fits both culturally and technically, taking a planned, long-term approach that supports business growth and success. I also bring a passion for optimising HR information systems by bringing clarity and structure to processes while keeping the experience simple, human, and engaging.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me:

• Hanging out with my family – I’m a wife, mum, daughter, step-mum and very proud step-gma.
• Starting my mornings with exercise to set the tone for the day and keep me balanced.
• Cheering for my son at basketball on weekends (loudly!).
• Travelling and creating memorable experiences with my family.
• Getting lost in a great book or hunting down new foodie spots to try.
• Planning and organising to make sure life runs smoothly – I love a good list, routine, and structure.

I have over two decades of broad people and culture experience, helping businesses navigate every corner of HR with confidence.  My passion lies in helping leaders of fast scaling businesses structure their team for success, avoid Fair Work non-compliance/penalties, and create an inclusive/high performing team culture.  This helps Founders and Entrepreneurs survive the start-up phase, scale sustainably, become investment ready and get that all important competitive edge.

On a personal note:

• I’m a Mum, Step-Mum, Nanny and Dog Mum who loves nothing more than having all our kids, their dogs and our friends around for a BBQ on the weekends
• When I get time to escape, you’ll most likely find me and my best friend/husband cruising down the beach on Bribie Island in our Rubicon Jeep Wrangler. This is one of my favourite spots in Australia to camp on the beach, unplug and unwind.
• I’m all about balance, so I offset my love of chocolatecake with regular boxingfitnesssessions. Plus plenty of “jalks” (my jog/walk mix) with a great playlist to keep me moving.
• Purple Playground is my second entrepreneurial venture, the first being a camper trailer hire company we established back in 2009 which combined my love of camping with being my own boss!
