This role is an ideal next step for a Bid Coordinator or Marketing and Communications Specialist looking to advance their career in bid writing and consulting. It offers the opportunity to apply your existing knowledge of the bidding process while further developing the skills needed to craft competitive and compelling submissions. Our Bid Consultants provide professional writing and consulting services to support our clients’ broad tender and proposal efforts across the whole bidding lifecycle. We operate in a deadline-driven environment, where our focus is on delivering high-quality, persuasive submissions that give our clients the best chance of winning.

To succeed, our Bid Consultants need to:

  • Help our clients understand their key discriminators and build a winning case
  • Work under pressure at times to meet rigid submission deadlines
  • Be able to develop the ability to think strategically across the bidding life cycle
  • Actively seek and provide support to colleagues, sharing work progress and updates with clients in a timely manner while tackling tasks across multiple bids, prioritising effectively, and escalating matters as needed.

From early on you will be:

  • Mentored to develop your consulting approach with clients to help them understand what is needed to win and ensure submission guidelines are met
  • Writing and managing submissions for smaller clients
  • Writing sections of large tenders as part of a wider team
  • Structuring, formatting, and producing professional submission documents.
