Build the Future of NJAC’s Ranger Program
Ngullingah Jugun (Our Country) Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (NJAC) is establishing its first permanent Ranger workforce and is seeking an experienced Ranger leader to help shape the future of the program.
This is an opportunity that will help build NJAC’s Ranger Program from the ground up – working with Western Bundjalung people to care for Country, strengthen culture and create lasting opportunities for community.
Reporting to the CEO and based in the Northern Depot in Mallanganee, this is a permanent, full-time position where you will lead a team of four full-time Rangers, support the growth of a casual Ranger workforce and play a key role in creating employment pathways for future generations of Western Bundjalung people.

About NJAC
NJAC is the organisation that holds and manages native title rights and interests for Western Bundjalung People.
NJAC protects native title rights and interests, supports cultural heritage outcomes and creates opportunities that strengthen the future of Western Bundjalung people.
NJAC’s long-term vision is to build a sustainable Ranger Program that cares for and manages Western Bundjalung native title lands. Working in partnership with National Parks and Wildlife Service, other government agencies and external partners, the program will be supported by expert advice, practical resources and established networks, creating a strong foundation for long-term success.
About the Position
As Ranger Team Leader, you will provide leadership and direction to a growing Ranger workforce delivering land management, conservation and cultural heritage activities across Western Bundjalung Country.
You will help build a strong, supportive and accountable team where Rangers can learn, share knowledge and grow together.
